Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV)
What is ESV?
Many employers support programmes that allow their staff, either as individuals or in groups, to carry out volunteer work for community and charitable organisations. The VolunteerNow website provides guidance on this scheme.
The Community Garden has already benefited from ESV through work carried out by employees of the Royal Bank of Scotland, Sky and West Lothian District Council.
